Osaka Day 2 - Kendo and Osaka Castle

Day 2 got off to a fairly relaxed start. We went to Denny's for breakfast but it ended up being lunch. For a moment me and Nathan thought that all Yuuma was eating was ice cream but he had actually ordered some pasta as well!

Osaka Castle is not the original, it's been burned down more than once and the current one is a reconstruction from the 20s, I believe, which was restored in the mid 90s. It's still pretty impressive but the best thing about our visit was the Kendo! We had no idea it would be happening, we heard a lot of commotion from a hall we were walking past on our way to the castle and went in to have a look. It's pretty difficult to photograph but really fun to watch. Very loud and aggressive, lots of shouting and stomping and leaping.

Oh Japan, your Engrish always amuses me.
