Back to reality...

Normally that sentence has pretty negative connotations but in my case 'reality' is still pretty darn good. I'm back at work and it's hectic but not in a bad way. I've been very busy but I've tried to make sure that I'm doing fun none-worky things to balance out the 6 day weeks that have suddenly appeared.

I'm still finding it really amusing how similar this job is logistically to my old job as a rep for Canon. I'm travelling all over the place, a few hours here, a few hours there. I have a spreadsheet to claim my expenses and training people on photographic equipment is a sort of teaching as well. I must admit, I don't miss all the reports!

Anyway, some random photos.....

I love my new rug, it's instantly made my room more like home, bit of an impulse purchase but I don't regret it one bit.

The cheesiest pizza I've had in a long time. I don't know how apparent it is in these shots but that strand of cheese was easily a metre long before it broke.

My one day off and the forecast said rain! Thankfully Yuuma was on hand with... I don't know what it's called, but it's meant to stop rain?? It appeared to work, we had great weather in the end.

The main reason I didn't want rain was that the plan was to visit Yoyogi Park and see some of the Thai Festival. The weather was gorgeous, the sheer number of people did make things a little difficult to navigate.

These guys are amazing, a big group of Elvis impersonators and they had been joined by some girls when we walked past again on our way back to the station.

I'm going to be very busy with work for the rest of the month, I'm going to try take my camera out with me everywhere anyway. Even if it's just for shots out of the train window it's better than nothing and I've got some good ones that way.
