Warrior Dash - Sagamiko, Japan

I participated in my first Warrior Dash on Sunday and it was brilliant. The weather was amazing, the people were so enthusiastic, and there were some really awesome costumes.

Due to everyone in my group being really busy right up until the day, we didn't get organised enough to sort out proper costumes. The boys wore Hawaiian shirts and the best I could do was a pair of cat ears on a headband I found at my local supermarket (better than nothing?!). Still, we all had a great day and spent the journey back to Tokyo planning what we'll dress up as for the next one!

Saturday

This was my Saturday. I spent most of the afternoon in Kasai Rinkai Park (葛西臨海公園) with Maze in the aquarium there. The weather was beautiful, it was a good day for photos.

Winter Is Coming...

...and very suddenly at that. In the space of something like 3 weeks the temperature has dropped very quickly. It's not even THAT cold yet but the speed of the change has been quite a shock and I keep finding myself out and about wishing I'd put on a few more layers before leaving the house. Thankfully the weather has been beautiful despite the chill.
