Ovens are rare in Japan. There is one in my guesthouse but it's temperamental and only has two heat settings "keep it warm while other stuff cooks" and "make sure all contents are reduced to unidentifiable black crispy lumps". Roast dinners are not easily cooked at home thankfully Tokyo has pretty much everything, including British pubs serving roasts and fish & chips.
