Shinjuku Eisa

Eisa is a kind of folk dance that originates in Okinawa, I had never even heard of it before Saturday. It's very energetic and involves a lot of drumming, jumping, and shouting. Both a lot of fun to watch and to photograph, it turns out!

So much fun in fact that I came home with 300+ RAW files on my SD card. Even with multiple attempts to edit down further I've some how still ended up with almost 40 shots I want to share here. So, this is going to be a monster of a blog (sorry not sorry)...
